Give to the Bangladesh Cyclone Appeal

The most devastating cyclone SIDR in the history of Bangladesh destroyed the total civilization in the most of the southern districts of the country on November 15, 2007 . It is understood people worldwide have been reading and listening & watching through various news media the depth of causalities that took place in the affected localities.

In the storm's aftermath, thousands of people are dead and hundreds of thousands more are in desperate need of food, clean water, shelter and medical assistance. Thousands of homes in the affected districts were destroyed and uncountable trees have been uprooted, blocking roads and causing further damage. Paddy fields in the area have been inundated by flooding, with crops and vegetables either under water or destroyed. Many sources of drinking water are also now unusable and contaminated.

It would be just worthwhile to point out that everyday new & unknown pictures of the depth of the disaster are coming out which is heart touchy.

Upon such grievous natural calamity that caused one of the most tragic human disasters on the earth, the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council - USA has undertaken a project in the name of "BHBCUC-USA Relief Operation Project upon SIDR" to aid the cyclone affected people as much as possible on our part.

As such, we would earnestly appeal to all around the globe for kind support in raising funds for the "BHBCUC-USA Relief Operation Project upon SIDR".
