Pradip Malaker, President, Ramna Kalibari Rakkha & Punarudhar Committee (Ramna Temple Restore & Rebuild Committee) handed over a memorandum to Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed through the Consul General, NY on 19 th Feb 2007. Along him were Ratan Barua, President, BHBCUC, USA; Rabindranath Sarker and Ramesh Nath of Bangladesh Hindu Mandir. The delegation demanded that the 800 years old Ramna Kali Mandir should be rebuild in its old place where it was situated. They also demanded to rebuild and repair all the temples destroyed by the Islamists in last 5years during BNP-Jaamat rule. Earlier a delegation of the BHBCUC, USA also visited the CG with the demand that the Enemy Property Act should be repelled immediately by the present care taker government
