BHBCUC , USA observed Victory Day & World Human Rights Day today at Jackson Heights .  Presided over by Ratan Barua, President, BHBCUC, USA it was conducted by Sushil Saha, General Secretary. Mr. Mat Weiner of Interfaith Center was the Chief Guest while Kaji Shamsul Haque, editor, Weekly Ekhon Somoy & Dr. Mohsin Ali, President, Bangladesh Human Rights Watch, USA was special guests.  Among others Dr. Thomas Dulu Roy, President, BHBCUC, USA; Dr. Monorama Biswas, Vice-President; Pradip Malaker, Vice-President; Sulivan Gomeg; Sankar Dutta and Sitangshu Guha talked in the event. Before the speeches Sakina Dani of Bonolata cultural group & Taposhi Mukherji sang patriotic songs Ashis Mukherji was in Tabla. Sakina Dani also recited two poems on Bangladesh.  The meeting discussed about the glorious history of Bangladesh and declared that complete victory will be achieved when Bangladesh will be a democratic country where people from all sphere of life and religion can live there with respect & dignity. The meeting demanded free & fair election where all the voters including the religious minorities can exercise their voting rights without fear or sub-ordination.
